Fortunately, this can be avoided with Maxi-Cosi e-Safety. Maxi-Cosi's e-Safety is an intelligent cushion that detects your child in the seat and sends an alarm if you move beyond the maximum range from the car. This allows you to enjoy uncompromising safety.

Not yet. However, it is recommended that you install the device before leaving your child in a car seat in the car, to ensure the child's safety. Please note that since 2 October 2019, in Italy it has been mandatory to use a device integrated into the car seat that prevents children up to 4 years old from being left behind.

How long does the e-Safety battery last?

The e-Safety battery life depends on how the intelligent cushion is used. As a rule, the battery lasts for at least 4 years when used for 2 hours a day.

Can I add an additional e-Safety cushion to the app?

You can add up to 4 intelligent e-Safety cushions to the e-Safety app on your smartphone.

The Maxi-Cosi e-Safety app can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play (Android 5.0, iOS 10.0 or later).

How much does it cost to send an alarm?

There is no charge for an alarm notification.

Only mobile phone numbers (not landline numbers) should be used to register an emergency contact in the e-Safety app. Please do not register national emergency numbers, such as the police number.
